Flow in a large wind field with multiple actuators in the presence of constant vorticity

چکیده

Study of wind farms is an area active research. Researchers have proposed simplified farm models that define the wake structure in a and how they affect performance turbines. Interestingly, these do not take into account important aspect fluid flow, i.e., fluid–structure interaction (FSI) between turbines wind, which has role to play. This motivated researchers implement numerical analysis tools model geometry computational dynamics (CFD) based order better understand study farms. However, modeling complex blades makes computationally expensive. In this paper, we propose FSI methodology can simplify blade resolving CFD eliminate requirement for geometries during preliminary engineering phase. As example, present simulations up three back-to-back compare results with those obtained from software, FLORIS. The demonstrates approach be used develop relatively less expensive model. formulated paper follows intermediate way analytical by introducing modifications one most basic (Jensen's model) using it decomposed immersed interface method strategy.
